Fall in Love with a Book-image

This February, fall in love all over again with a book and a warm drink. In today’s blog post, we’re sharing a few of our favorite books. Your Arrive on University apartment is the perfect place to relax and get lost in a great story filled with mystery, fantasy, adventure, and more. Grab a cup of your favorite drink, wrap up in a cozy blanket, and settle in for a relaxing evening in Dallas, Texas. Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult — “Jodi Picoult is never afraid to take on hot topics, and in Small Great Things, she tackles race and discrimination in a way that will grab hold of you and refuse to let you go. . . . This page-turner is perfect for book clubs.” — Popsugar Empty Mansions by Bill Dedman — “A compelling account of what happened to the Clark family and its fortune . . . a tremendous feat.” — St. Louis Post-Dispatch All The Missing Girls by Megan Miranda — “Are you paying attention? You'll need to be; this thriller will test your brain with its reverse chronological structure, and it's a page-turner to boot.” — ELLE The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell — “Gladwell, a New Yorker staff writer, offers an incisive and piquant theory of social dynamics that is bound to provoke a paradigm shift in our understanding of mass behavioral change. Defining such dramatic turnarounds as the abrupt drop in crime on New York’s subways, or the unexpected popularity of a novel, as epidemics, Gladwell searches for catalysts that precipitate the ‘tipping point,’ or critical mass, that generates those events.” — Booklist We think you’ll certainly love some of these books. If you are a member of a book club, these would be great choices to read, along with others. Be sure to recommend your favorites to your friends. Check back next time for another great post like this one.

Century Spice Road (2 to 5 Players, 8 and up) “Discover the beauties of the spice trading road and its colorful markets with the amazing artwork by [internationally] renowned artist Fernanda Suárez.” Near and Far (2 to 4 Players, 13 and up) “Search for a lost city in a strange and wonderful world of ruins; manage and recruit adventurers, each with a unique identity; read from a book of stories, building an amazing and memorable tale each time you play!” Spyfall 2 “Spyfall is played over several rounds, and at the start of each round all players receive cards showing the same location — except that one player receives a card that says ‘Spy’ instead of the location. Players then start asking each other questions — ‘Why are you dressed so strangely?’ or ‘When was the last time we got a payday?’ or anything else you can come up with — trying to guess who among them is the spy. The spy doesn't know where he is, so he has to listen carefully. When it's his time to answer, he'd better create a good story!” This is a fun bluffing game for up to 12 players. Love Letter “Love Letter is a game of risk, deduction, and luck, for [2 to 4] players. Designed by Seiji Kanai, the game features incredibly simple rules that create dynamic and exciting player interactions. Players attempt to deliver their love letter into the Princess’s hands while keeping other players’ letters away. Powerful cards lead to early gains, but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long and your letter may be tossed in the fire!” What’s your favorite board game? Share in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
